Refund policy

Thank you for shopping with Naked Bakes. Because our goods are freshly baked and perishable, we have specific guidelines regarding refunds and returns.
1. Scope of This Policy

Applies to all baked goods purchased from www.nakedbakes.ie.

By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms below.
2. No Standard Returns
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we cannot accept returns if you change your mind.
All sales of baked goods are final, except in the limited cases described in Section 3.
3. When Refunds or Replacements Apply
We will review claims on a case-by-case basis. A refund or replacement may be granted if:

Items arrive damaged, spoiled, or clearly defective.

The product received is significantly different from what was ordered (e.g. wrong flavour, missing item).

You notify us within 24 hours of delivery (see Section 4).
4. Timeframe for Claims

Claims must be submitted within 24 hours of delivery.

Please include clear photos of the issue, along with your order number.

Claims submitted after 24 hours may not qualify.
5. How to Submit a Claim

A short description of the problem
We aim to respond within 48 hours. If approved, we will arrange a refund to your original payment method or send a replacement where possible.
6. Partial Refunds
In some cases, we may issue a partial refund — for example, if only part of the order is affected.
7. Shipping Costs

Refunds do not include original shipping costs, unless the error was ours.

You will not be asked to return perishable goods.

In rare cases, we may request unopened, unused items be returned, at our expense.
8. Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges for change of mind.

If you received the wrong or defective product, we will replace it when possible.
9. Gift Orders

If your order was marked as a gift, we’ll work with the gift giver to resolve any approved claims.

11. Your EU Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under Irish and EU consumer law.

Under EU law, consumers normally have the right to cancel online purchases within 14 days.

However, this right does not apply to perishable goods such as fresh food and baked goods.

You are still entitled to a replacement or refund if the goods are defective, not as described, or not fit for purpose.
