Our Story
What started as a dream in her childhood kitchen turned into a bakery paving the way in the plant-based space. Founded by Aisling Tuck, Naked Bakes specialises in creating delicious baked goods and treats that just happen to be vegan.
Aisling’s love of baking was fostered by the two most important women in her life, her mother and her grandmother. When she decided to go vegan at age 18 (much to the annoyance of said mother) she was met with criticism but also a distinct lack of treats that satisfied her ever growing sweet tooth. So what better way to solve that problem than to take matters into her own hands, literally. Aisling began to experiment with tastes, flavours and how best to put a plant based spin on some baking classics without sacrificing quality or flavour.
Sharing her creations online Aisling quickly grew a following and started to sell direct to consumers, cafes and farmers markets. With a passion for plant based cooking, sustainability and creativity, Aisling’s drive saw Naked Bakes grow from strength to strength.
Over the past 6 years the company has grown from a side hustle to a successful manufacturing business based in Tallaght. Employing over 12 people, Naked Bakes can now be found in your kitchens nationwide, tonnes of cafes and some major retailers such as Lidl and SuperValu.
